Fragile

Mc on Thursday because of an eye infection caused by my contact lens. And now no more contact lens till my eyes recovered. And after that I had fever, cough and sore throat all had family reunion.
And me still went to Sentosa on Friday thinking that my fever had subsided but who knows after three hours of outdoors my fever came back and I had to go homeeee just after getting cheap deals from cotton on. And so my fri,sat and sun were all spend on my bed. And I lost two kg which I had alr gained back. Wtf is this manzxxxx.

Xmas Party

The office had an Xmas party organised. I loveeee it. Because I start work on the dot and end work in advance. Hahaha. That's the joy of parties. Food was so so, party atmosphere was okay but I really love presents.

This year broke the record of presents I received for Xmas. Really thankful for colleagues who fork out extra to buy for everyone in the office when we initially only had to be one colleague secret Santa. Hehehe. Mine was a super easy task, a colleague wrote: you can buy me anything and I will like it. Woah, but ya it's also somewhat difficult because I couldn't figured out what to buy. Like there's no specific item for me to look for. In the end I settled for the most common Xmas gifts. Hahaha. Towel sets and Xmas figurines.

On Xmas eve, we don't have halfday but we managed to bargain for work ending at 4pm. Three hours earlier from my usual knock off time. And yay went to Fullerton Hotel where the sissy booked a room there. The view was rlly nice overlooking mbs, flyer, etc. All the important tourist landmarks are right infront of the room. But sissy was not satisfied with the room size, the balcony was disappointing as well. It's not a personal balcony. Anyone staying along that corridor may just suddenly walk past your room. So there's not much privacy but anyways no one rlly open and walk in the balcony except us.

Pan Pacific Orchard

So it's finally a stay at PPSGO! Was given a upgrade but I can't remember the room category. The plus point abt PPSGO is that all rooms are equipped with coffee machine, the Nespresso. Though I'm not a caffeine lover but I though that was rlly good.

And their bathtub a little different from the rest is that it is sunken. Not like the usual hotel bathtub where we have to like have long legs to step OVER it. We just have to step into the bathtub. If you get what I mean. Hahaha.

After staying in fabulous Pan Pac Singapore. PPSGO seems boring. Okay but still classy. Location wise is great after you figure out the shortcut. As giant has smth on in the evening so I shopped around town on my own for the first time in my life. Went to mango, cotton on, sephora, I loveeeeee sales manzx. It's like there's so many affordable stuffs out there. Hahaha.
And the breakfast was great, I rlly like it manzx. The pancakes, the pastries, the fried rice, the double egg yoke sunny side up, chicken porridge, etc. was nice. Stuffed myself with a heavy breakfast.

So that was my last time for 2012! There's another last stay, awwww :((( for Pickering and that's the end of my hotel stay journey.

Mistake

Okay so I made some sort of serious mistake at work! Ya it's my fault, and I wouldn't deny it either.
It's all due to my gei kiang-ness.
Picked up a phone call and I already asked my manager for the answer but I did not tell the caller the correct information. So when guest checked in, a huge problem occurred.
Guest demanded to meet me, the dms and everyone bombed my manager phone as he was on leave.
I felt really bad to trouble so many people just because of my careless mistake.

I'm thankful everything has been solved and my manager didn't reprimand me. Yes, I wrote a apology note and left it on his desk. I drew hearts and paste it on his desk as well.

Things seems to get a tad better without one colleague. It seems that the evil aura has somehow reduced to a normal office politics feel. Like I'm no longer outcast to the extreme, though at times they still forget about my existence.

But I don't care as long as I go to work and end work as a happy me. I'm fine. I can talk nonsense to my colleagues and laugh like I'm really happy. But we'll, in the cruel working world, who doesn't put on his/her mask!

Overspent overspent

Omgg my pay just came in on the 27th. Before December arrive, I've already overspent. Had my contact lens and specs done which caused me nearly 300$ omgg. But well, I can't wait to collect them. And my dogs grooming plus food will all be cramp into Dec which means I'm super broke.

I need to save up because during Feb, sissy and I will be treating the parents for BBK trip. I would need to pay for the accommodation as well as my air fare. Ever since I came back from the tw trip, I have been broke till now. I haven't even start saving and there I'm planning a trip already.

And a funny incident happen to me and giant. We went to tpy Safra for our bowling sessions. We played 7games and cost $35! It's damm expensive. So there were three guys or rather boys working there came to talk to us like non stop. Before we left, one of them gave us their ctc number. I was damm shock but well I guessed they need some sister love luh. Hahahaha.

Familiarisation Stay

Okay since we gonna start cross selling the different hotels under Pan Pac, site inspections has been organised for us.

Like the dinner plus stay at PARKROYAL on Beach Rd. As well as the dinner and stay at Pan Pac Singapore. So going into a little details for my site inspection at PPS. The dinner was suffocating because the hotel manager had to sit right next to me. Yes I'm bad at socialising with higher authorities even if they appear friendly. But I've got to say the spread at The Edge was omgg good. There had different counters for different cuisines. There's pizza, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, local food. The desserts was superb. And for the stay, I had giant to stay with me agn. Since PPS was located near Marina Square, we went to play two rounds of bowling before heading back to the hotel for supper. The room that was allocated for us was Habour Studio. The view from the room was fabulous and the layout was really niceeee. I love the bathroom because there's standing shower as well as bathtub. And it was transparent of course there was a blind that you could use to cover up. But for people staying alone, you can watch teevee from the bathroom. Because there's speaker in the bathroom as well.

And last thursday had our dinner at PPO, Pan Pac Orchard. Their specialty is Chay Kway Teow and Ayam Laksa as well as 3 other dishes but I only tried the first two. The crepe was super nice luh. Can't wait for the stay in December.

Legoland

Yes so went to Legoland with fgc minus amd!!

Its a place rlly suitable for child. Okay but i have the guts of a child only. So the rides are scary for me. Look at the attached photo. My deformed face because the steep slope. Ya, i cannot take rides that accelerate down the steep slope. i can't even scream its like stuck.

Okay luh at least i got the chance to stepped into M'sian after quite some time.

Fulfilling

Okayyy so i just signed up for Zumba lessons~~

Hahaha can't wait manzx. My Zumba classes and yoga lessons. It make me feel better, at least I'm exercising i don't feel fat. Hehhehe.

My pay just came in and its gone alr. Because i need to save up for the bkk trip with da family. Its been a long time since we went overseas with da parents. Ya i need to pay for the accommodation. so i need to start saving now.

And I'm gonna make my first pair of monthly contact lens liao.

Everything needs money. Vitamin M is so impt to me.

P.s: i need a new pair of spects too.

PARKROYAL on Beach Road

Yes it's our familarisation stay!! Soon we need to start selling other property!!

This time round I stayed alone~~ it was scary but I think it's much better than staying in the same room as my colleague luh!!

After staying at pan pac, our hotel is really nothing special.

But the dinner at Plaze Brasserie was great!! The variety of food available was wide!! And food surprisingly good!!

But awkward moment to eat with the GM!!

And it was a hectic week because there was only me and my manager in the office!! Omgg I had to answer all calls and do many emails!! So I'm proud of myself to be able to do so things myself!! ;)

Work

Didn't had a good sleep for at least a month already. I miss sleeping till late manzx!!

Weekdays is my full time job while weekend my time is spent on part time job!! People are all asking me: are you that broke?!

Well I'm really broke, I need money for so many things!! My parents my dogs and myself!! I need to buy so many things!! And a month I'm saving like nothing frm my full time job!! Yeah I need to change one but ODK what I really want!!

But from the job I get to meet really nice people!! Not all are really nice but at least someone to talk to and my time passes so much faster!! Hehehehe

Bowling

So Safra finally reopen after two years of renovation!!

So happy to have bowling available near our house now!! It's so convenient manzx!!

Went bowling for consecutive two days and spent $100+ manzx!! Well my skills still suck even though I've thrown like more than hundred times already!!

Birthday

A very outdated post on my 21st!!

I'm really grateful and touched for what giant had done for me!! Yes we booked a room at Studio M!! She email them so that she could check in way before the check in time to decorate the room. She baked cupcakes for me she did a scrapbook and a tumblr!! And at 12am I'm thankful to see my sissy appearing in front of my hotel door!!

But was happy that my stay was during the Halloween period and most importantly near Clarke Quay!!

Clarke Quay is really damm happening I swear omgg!! All clubbers dressed up for the Halloween event!! Took photos with those Halloween characters!!

Anyway it was a simple yet great birthday!!

And back in the office, the colleagues celebrated for me with my fav Sakae sushi plus cake from concord!!

Then a few days later it was a celebration for giant birthday! Had Sakae sushi and I did my very own keys holder!! So proud omgg!! I think it's pretty nice manzx!!

My Saturday

Woohoo finally I had a good rest after 12 consecutive working days!! Woots woots!

Yesterday was the eat-and-spend-a-lot day! Omgg! Next week shall be the stay at home weekend!

Anw woke up damm early to meetup with Huimin! ;) meeting up after a long time. Had a treat from Huimin at Fruits Paradise Tarts!! As advance birthday celebration. Hehehe. <3 can't wait for the next meetup alr!!! But it will be in December. Ya she is damm busy.

And then in the afternoon, it was a meetup with xinxin and giant!! Hahaha
Finally met up with xinxin!! ^_^
We walked around we eat we shopped we watch movie!! Taken 2 was niceee!! Liam Neeson was as omgg...and I had to thank them for accompanying me.

It sum it up, it was a well-spend Saturday!! :D

Life

And it's my birthday month le!! Hehehe! I wonder how many people will actually remember my birthday!! The ones who will make an effort to celebrate for me. Im not being greedy. I just wanna feel loved by people around me. Text message wishes just aint enough for me to feel loved.

It's the mid-autumn festival, Bikram Yoga

Yeah yeah so tdy headed to Chinese Garden with giant!!
It was sadly super boring with over priced food sold there!!
Was pretty disappointed and I was freaking hungry I swear!!

And I trimmed my hair!! Feels light now!! Gonna start taking care of my hair manzx!! If not I'm gonna turn bald soon. So I bought a hair tonic which the salon aunty says will help for my hair growth. Hopefully it works for me pleaseeeee!!

And I attended my first Bikram yoga with Jojo!! I must say I LOVE IT. Gg sweating after the yoga, the feeling is great. I didn't had any symptoms that they said, the dizziness etc. I'm proud of myself for completing 26postures and 2 breathing exercise that lasted for 90mins. Was rally tempted to join the membership but it's too expensive for me. Shall stick to the community centre yoga then.

Stress Test @ Pan Pac

So the title pretty much explains everything.

3 weeks ago, I had a free stay a Pan Pac!! It was a runaway from home for 3days2nights!!! Hahaha. We get to ask a friend along to stay with us. So I asked giant along. Since she super on one.

The newly renovated rooms was hmm pretty good.

The bad thing was the bathroom!! It was transparent. But luckily it was only for the king sized bed room.

First night was great. Thanks to Shalini, we got a habour view room.
Btw Shalini was once a Fairmont DM.

Everything was great except the service!! Breakfast variety were too little as well. But dinner was great. My Thai chicken curry taste great.

Hot yoga yo yo

HAHAHA another last minute decision made. So Jojo whatsapp me today in the afternoon to asked me, if I'm interested in attending free yoga lessons with her!! It's actually a trial ah. 5lessons within 14days!!!

So since its free, i thought why not.

So the person brief us on the membership charges!! Freaking cost $4000 for a year. Woah it's a rich people kind of exercise.

Anw we have decided to go ahead and try out the free lessons first. If we are really interested then we shall join the CC yoga.

The yoga that we joined is call Bikram as known as hot yoga. It's different from the normal yoga because we gonna sweat a lot. Caused we are doing yoga in a room set at 41 degrees Celsius. We gonna get dizzy and everything for the first lesson.

Excited much for my first yoga lesson this coming Thursday.

And giant is asking me to join Chingy! I'm not really interested in participating but then there will be instructors to teach us how to play ukelele which is rather tempting for me!! Omg I need to make a decision soon.

Catchup sessions

Last week was the catching up with friends time! Finally met Stephy after like a month plus!! Hehehe it was a pretty last min meetup!! A short one!!

Then it was FGC it has been months since we saw each other!! Except Amd ah. We had xlb buffet!! Woohoo I love buffets!! I get to eat a lot without extra charges!!!

Healthy

Heheh has been trying hard to eat lesser these days. And I realised I gain weight even more easily. So no more eating lesser, just be me, myself and I. That is, the big eater. Ahahaha

Went cycling last weekend with Rayden and I swear I'm damm good at riding the family bicycle which freaking cost us nearly $80 for three hours only. I love such exercises. Hahaha. And now I'm gonna try to do workouts regularly, if possible. Remb the word:if possible. Because my body is aching from just thirty minutes of workout. And usually I'm too tired to do anything after work.

So last week we celebrated my manager birthday. And I hate the fact that a new comer is attached to me. Like fk, I'm already pretty clueless with my own job alr, and now you are giving me extra task like I'm earning extra. Shouldn't it be the other way round, the seniors teaching him. It's like fk when he do something wrong I'm responsible.

My bil is encouraging me to leave man. He was like asking me why your table so empty one. I thought girls table should be decorated with a lot of things. I replied:because I know I won't stay for too long. It's easier when I leave. Hahaha.

Walkathon

Had my first Walkathon in my life. Hahaha. It was a super last minute decision. Like the day before at ard 7pm. Hahha. This is how steady me and Jeslyn is. We always make impromptu decisions.

But anw i pretty love walkathon since i cant run well. Hahaha. 5km was okay for me. We walked from Lavender mrt to Marina Barrage and it took me around an hour. Hahaha. Gonna participate more in such walks manzx.


Had Sakae Sushi buffet after the walk. To reward myself for waking up early. Hahaha.

And did i say my reservations at Studio M is confirmed. hahaha. Yay.

Work has been getting a lil better and better each day!! Have to say im a tad happier. ^_^ of course now and then my manager gets a bit of menopause. And life gets difficult.

On a side note, i rlly hate being the one who makes initiative to meetup with my friends. Like always that kind. It makes me think that these friends doesnt miss me at all.

Hehehehe okay people the emo is gone.

After listening to some friends, i realized its may really be a hassle to invite people to birthday celebrations.

Idk what to do etc...so

I rather attend one. Which will be jojo birthday.

So i will spend my birthday with people who go and extra mile to celebrate for me. Why invite people right, when people might not even wanna celebrate for me. Inviting them is like forcing them. so people who really wanna celebrate will do that for me. doesnt matter its advance or belated. Ya thats all i wanna say.

A month of work

So next week marks the first month of working as Reservations agent. Well, I can't 100% say things smooth sailing for me because I still do get ignored like 7 out of 10 times when I talk. While my qns getting ignored would be 9 out of 10.

Hmm but well slowly getting the hang of my work. The qns I'm asking reduced a bit and yes don't get bothered with such things. But well, at times when the biased treatments is so goddam obvious it's difficult for me to feel okay. I just feel sad about the fact why can't I be treated the same way, does the problem lies with me.

It's the same outside my work life. Contemplating whether should I go ahead with a birthday celebration. Because I don't know how many people gonna attend. Or rather idk who to invite. The number of people that I truly think they will turn up are less than ten. I guessed its all my problem. I'm not outgoing enough. Or should I say I'm not important enough to any of my friends. I'm always treated as an option.

But for now, I'm sure I have at least two friends I can count on. Thank you for always listening to my rantings.

On a happy note, yah I'm gonna booked a hotel room a day before my birthday with Ms Giant. Hahaha. No matter what I'm gonna booked one to pamper myself and of course comfort my lonely soul. I'm already looking fwd to it. Hopefully jojo gets to book the room for me. ;)

Dread Work

to my dear giant: thankyou for giving me moral support now that i'm facing problems at work.

to be honest she's always the last person I will seek help from because all the time we talk nonsense and at rlly crucial times we still can't be serious. until this time round, i finally realized she's such a great friend! giving me encouragements every single day.

of course to friends like Amd, Steph, Jojo, Bay, Aish, Huimin thankyou for always replying my whatsapp whenever i feel down and had to find rlly lotsa of people to comfort and console me.

okay this was for last week, i'm no longer wearing uniforms. from PARKROYAL now i'm transferred under Pan Pacific Marketing Services which is under Pan Pac la.

i dread work, everyday it's a torture to drag my body to work. i feel so intimidated.

i can't elaborate further because my blog is not private. i can only do so in twitter.

so yah, i really no motivation to work anymore. :(

tml onwards, i have to start picking up calls and make reservations on the spot when i'm not even familiar with my work. so i'm so dead. goodluck to me then.

on a side note, i rlly missed all my friends. we rarely meetup, well its rlly difficult now that everyone is busy with work. i missed Amd, nowadays whenever i see her is always very short catchup session. my meetup discussion with jojo and xs has been ongoing for months alr. omgg.

okay i missed Stephy too, used to have weekly meetups. in short i miss everyone.

The walking buddy

Okay I love walking and this is my walking buddy. We can walk from taka to cine then back to taka then plaza sing then back to orchard central then walk to Somerset 313 then taka again. Lol

Glad to met her during internship at Fairmont. And how our friendship continues. No awkward moments even when we don't meet for some time.

Our next meet up hopefully there will be xin xin he bian cao aka xinyi. I also enjoy giving people rlly awful names.

Cold feets

Aiya I seriously hate myself la.( okay at times)

When I don't have a job I vexed about it but now that I have a job I totally suddenly don't look forward to the start of it.

Well I have to admit the few months of sleeping late waking up late has somehow contribute to my laziness now.

I get really scared about going into a new environment, afraid of office politics etc.

Really enthusiastic about working for baby fair because I get to earn extra out of my full time job. But now that it's really starting, I don't feel like going to work but getting the pay later on is another story okay I'm contradicting myself.

Idk la.

Ps: I'm rlly happy that I found friends whom I can not only joke around but someone whom I can confide without having thoughts of irritating or disturbing them. Thank you.

A Job

Finally after being jobless for so long, I've found a job! Though it isn't my dream job that is working at Petopia. But at least I'm doing something that I'm familiar with. It does helps to motivate me. At least I don't need to learn everything from scratch. I've gotten the foundation what I need is only to adapt to the organisation culture.

I got to say that there is a huge different between my internship hotel. I'm trying to settle for something lesser. Because what Stephanie told me might be true, higher pay means higher responsibilities.

So anyway I'll be starting my work on 23rd July as a Reservations Agent at Park Royal, Beach Road. It's 5.5 work week, hopefully I'll get used to it. And I'm happy because I'll get to work like 4days of Taka baby fair before I officially start work. Yay extra money.

I just pray hard my colleagues will be nice to me and that they changed to central reservations system because I wanna use the high tech touch screen computers. Hahahaha. Everything will be fine, this is what I need to tell myself. :))

Furkids Birthday

28th June it's Zeus and Skinny birthday!!!

okay it's Zeus real birth date while for Skinny because we dk when he was born so he shall celebrate with Zeus as well. gonna head down to pet safari later to buy a birthday cake for them! the boys loveee the cake.

so 5years has passed since Zeus came to our lives while it's 3years for Skinny.

these 2 terrors i have to say it maybe troublesome to bring them down everyday and wash their paws twice a day. and at times I'm rlly lazy to do so. BUT the joy that they brought us can't be replaced by anyone else.

looking at them fighting over food but they still care abt one another(i'm serious, not being over-exaggerating) Skinny who has to find his friend when he go down everyday, while Zeus had to fight with Skinny friend. And now Rayden enjoying the company of both furkids, playing with Zeus and chasing after the not-so-friendly-to-kids Skinny.

omggg i sounds like a mother talking abt my kids.

anw it's Zeus 6th birthday while for Skinny it's roughly abt 11th! I wanna celebrateee more of their birthdays for them. i <3 my furkids!

Fringe

Hehehe the very brave me became a barber and cut my own fringe! Okay im proud of myself because though it was a bit too short, okay not too short la! But I still love the way my fringe looks like now!

Okay my previous job offer fell thru! Now I'm praying everyday hoping that some companies that I have applies for calls me for an interview and accept me as well as giving me a good pay! Pleaseeee

Back to USS again

It was PSA family day at USS!! It was freaking cheap at 25$ only! Finally tried the transformer ride! Hehehe but ya the timid me still cannot make it for the mummy ride as well as the cylon!

It was a great experience because it was held at night so it was much cooler but the crowd is still no joke! Waiting time for transformer ride was 40mins!
